+ Are we a good match?

At Adventures of Finn Dog Training, we pride ourselves on creating lasting change in your dog. We just don't want a "quick fix" but take the time to get to the root of the problem. As your dog training coach, we are committed to seeing not only your dog succeed but we want you as your dog's leader to also be successful. We work hard to make this happen and we ask that you also work hard and are committed to seeing your dog succeed. If you are ready to make some lasting changes in your home and how you interact with your dog, if you're open to new ways of doing things and getting rid of habits that aren't helpful for your dog and if you are ready to work hard to be the leader your dog needs, we are a great match :)

+ What makes your training different?

I work hard to make sure you know exactly what you need to do to help your dog. I try to make things are simple as possible to set you and your dog up for success. You're reading this because there is something your dog is doing that you don't like and you don't know how to fix it. I do. We use commands (place, come, down) as a gateway to creating structure, a calm state of mind in the dog, and a way for you and your dog to build a healthy relationship where your dog looks to you for guidance and direction. We are here to make meaningful, lasting changes in your dog so they have the skills to make good choices, no matter the situation for the rest of their lives.

+ Why E-Collar?

A tool does not replace strong leadership but it can help communicate with your dog in a way they understand. Modern low-level E-Collar training is the most effective, reliable, humane and transformational training tool available today. We use low-level communication, modern E-Collar training. Each dog is tested to determine his individual working level.

+ Why Prong Collar?

We use prong collars because we find them to be a great tool for connecting, communicating, and creating a balanced relationship with the least amount of physical stress to the dog AND owner. Most tools tend to only mask or manage the behavior and in some cases, cause more harm to the dog’s trachea when too much pressure is being applied. On the flip side, the prong collar allows us to actually break through distractions and effectively communicate with the dog, creating a vastly different state of mind and a highly responsive dog. Despite their look, the prong collar is designed to apply the proper amount of pressure to the dog without injury. When used correctly, prong collars have been proven to be the least physically taxing, most humane, and one of the safest tools available.

+ Will my dog's personality change after training?

Yes and no. Training will help get to the root of your dog's issue so you may see a calmer, happier side to your dog. In many cases, owners see a whole new, amazing side to their dog they didn't even know existed because the dog was too anxious to relax and let that side shine through.

+ Is their a guarantee on your training? What happens if I don't see results from training with you?

Because we are working with a living animal and there are so many variables that go into accomplishing your training goals, it would be unethical of me to make a guarantee. But! beacuse I only work with the most dedicated clients that are completly dedicated to seeing their dogs succeed and are willing to make some changes, even if they're tough changes, every dog I've worked with has improved drastically and enjoys a happier, calmer life filled with more adventures.
